GEOTUNNEL FOR GENERAL CONTRACTING COMPANY started as Qatar trading & Contracting Group (QTCG) and is an engineering firm that specializes and an expertise in planning and executing Infrastructure Construction, Roads, Roadside ITS, complex boring Pipe jacking (Micro-Tunneling), Drilling, Permeation Grout, Shotcrete application & CCTV Scanning-Rehabilitation services. Our acquired technological & operational experience allows us to partake in great infrastructure projects and developments throughout the GCC Countries, with over 120,000 meters of tunnel currently installed or ongoing
QTCG started with minor contracts for Public Works Authority (Ashghal) Department of Network Operation and Maintenance with an effort to provide high quality service. Initially company was involved in a subcontractor capacity.
QTCG started with minor contracts directly for Public Works Authority.
QTCG started taking part in Road Projects as a subcontractor.
QTCG invested in Micro-tunneling technology by acquiring our first MTBM, with sizes ranging from 200 to 3000mm.
Succeeded in signing our first Roads Contract as Main Contractor for Ashghal.

QTCG signed a contract for “Design and Construction of Lateral Interceptor Sewers 01 (LIS-01)” for Ashghal’s project under Inner Doha Re-Sewerage Implementation Strategy (IDRIS) with value QAR 1.04B for Ashghal.
QTCG started utilizing Mobile Rigs for Geo-Drilling & Grout Curtain subcontracting works.
QTCG signed the contract for “FIFA Readiness Project 04” as part of Qatar’s preparations for the World Cup, by upgrading the drainage systems of 3 Doha City zones for Ashghal with value 355M. We likewise signed a contract for Local Roads and Drainage Program for Al Ebb and Labeeb zones of Doha City with value of QAR 645M for Ashghal.
In order to facilitate growth, the management chose to subdivide the company and birthed “GEOTUNNEL FOR GENERAL CONTRACTING COMPANY”. Working on a project namely Wakrah and Wukair Drainage Network Branches with value QAR 399M for Ashghal and striving to be the best low-rise civil infrastructure contracting company.
