Implementation of Roadside ITS (Contract No.: C/2018/127)

The project is for the Design and Build of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) to an approximate length of Seventy-Five (75) km across 8 (eight) expressways and existing roadways. The scope of work includes survey, design, construction, proof of performance tests, integration to the Ashghal control center, commissioning and maintenance of intelligent transport system across the specified 8 roadway schemes. When completed, the project shall form of an integrated, comprehensive and fully operational ITS technology solution for the State of Qatar and will act as a critical element of the State’s transportation services.

Feeder Pillar   :   156 nos.
Ground Mounted Enclosures   :   249 nos.
Camera Poles   :   248 nos.
Lane Control Signs (LCS)   :   778 nos.
Smart Micro Radar   :   334 nos.
License Plate Reader (LPR)   :   226 nos.
PTZ/CCTV Cameras  :   140 nos.
Dynamic Message Signs (DMS & SDMS)   :   120 nos

Other ITS devices such as automatic incident detection (AID), Weigh in Motion (WIM), Over height Vehicle Detection System (OVDS) etc.
